What is Direct Support?

Once an NDIS Plan has been confirmed and is ready for implementation, Interaction’s Direct Support professionals work with you or the person you care for.  We find out all about a participants preferences, needs and wants. We make it a priority to ensure we match the right staff member to the participant.

Being a person-centred organisation, it is Interaction’s main purpose to ensure that our participants have all the necessary supports required to assist an individual to:

  • lead a self-managed, independent life and contribute to the community;
  • assist with daily living activities needed and requirements; and
  • encourage attitudes and behaviors that enhance community inclusion.
